What We Do:  Our focus is to educate and inform local citizens in the Alamance county, NC area about life issues, such as abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, and assisted suicide.

How We Do This:  Education is our first focus. Need someone to provide a presentation to a church group, civic organization, book club, or Sunday school?  Need a pro-life source for an article, a school paper, or a community forum?  Have a question about a life-related issue?  We provide all of these, and more

Education is also provide through community events. Every January, we hold a candlelight prayer vigil on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision. This occurs every January 22, and the vigil is held at the Graham, NC courthouse. Lasting about 45 minutes, this vigil consists of a speaker, updates on local and national life issues, and prayers. It begins at 7 pm, and normally lasts about 45 minutes, and the public is welcomed.

We also participate in our local Life Chain event. Life Chain is held in thousand of cities in the US and Canada, and it’s held on the first Sunday in October, and lasts from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. Participants silently hold signs informing the public about abortion and other life issues, and pray for an end to a culture of death in our country.

And every Mother’s Day, we sponsor a full page ad in our local print newspaper, providing a positive, life-affirming message about the right to life, and against those who seek a culture of death.

On an as-needed basis, we also provide support for women in crisis pregnancies.  We also support local crisis pregnancy ministries, such as A Heart’s Cry and Alamance Pregnancy Services

We also participate in and support state (North Carolina Right to Life) and national (National Right to Life) efforts on behalf of our most vulnerable citizens – unborn children, the disabled, the handicapped, the elderly, and the dying.

What you can do:   We welcome volunteers. However much or little time you have available, your efforts are welcomed. If you don’t know a lot, that’s OK, too – we’re all learning.
